*Insert infomercial voice* Do you often
watch a movie, bored, knowing what is going to happen in the next scene? Do you wish that the movie could be different every time you watch it? Well, now you can with the amazing new ‘Serendipity Machine’ from Rufus Corporation.
All kidding aside, this looks absolutely fantastic. This a specially designed computer algorithm that edits the movie in real time by choosing from 3000 different clips, 150 pieces of music and 80 voiceovers to make the movie. This also means that the movie has no beginning, middle or end, just a story.
Whiteonwhite:algorithmicnoir is directed by Eve Sussman. It’s a gritty sci-fi set in a dystopian future, similar to that of the 1964 French science-fiction movie, Alphaville.
